It all started when…

After I was diagnosed with leukemia at eighteen.  I celebrated six years later, living cancer free by cycling 3,168 miles in 38 days across the US. Six years later after the ride, I experienced a heart attack and received an LVAD to assist with my twice failing heart. At the end of February and 34 days after being admitted for a blood clot in his LVAD, I underwent my second open heart surgery in six months and received a heart transplant.

In October 2019, I will be cycling from San Diego, CA to Jacksonville, FL to meet my heart donor’s family and pay my respects to my heart donor’s burial site.

I aspire to continue to live the best possible life, by experiencing visuals, over-achieving and overcoming whatever adversity I have to, in order to continue spreading my positivity, inspire and motivate those around me.
