Day 3-5 P.A (Post Austin)

Hello everybody, Danny here again. In case you don’t know who I am, I am Mike’s RV driver, route co-planner, dog sitter, partial cook, RV/bike maintenance man, and his younger brother.

The last couple days we rode from Brookshire, TX to Webster, TX to Surfside Beach, TX to Beaumont, TX. Along the way we stopped in Webster, TX to meet and hang out with fellow heart transplant recipient, Sarah. Mike and Sarah discussed their incredible experiences over the last couple of years.

Mike, Seton, Merae and I met up with Jess and Mike. Mike and Jess have been traveling in a van for over 2 years. They converted their Sprinter into their home on wheels. We combined our separate adventures into one. Mike, Mike, Merae and Seton rode their bikes from Webster, TX to Winnie, TX. While Jess and I drove ahead to scout the route. After 20 miles Jess went ahead to Bolivar Peninsula to set up camp to stay the night on the beach. So we all stayed the night on the beach in our homes on wheels.

The last three days we have traveled over 100 miles, with each passing mile it seems we are experiencing a new adventure.
